Ventures Birding Tours was born and raised in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina. With the Blue Ridge Mountains on our doorstep, it was a natural to head out and explore the abundant birdlife.
We have continued to grow locally with bird and nature tours throughout the area, and expanded to multiple locations within North America and internationally.

The fee for our Virtual Birding Ventures is $5 per person.
‘Join Ventures guide and retired US Fish and Wildlife biologist, Craig Watson, for a virtual journey to the beaches of Turks and Caicos. Craig will share stories and photos from his time doing shorebird surveys on these Caribbean islands, specifically focusing on his discovery of previously unknown populations of Piping Plover, Short-billed Dowitcher and Red Knot and the conservation actions that followed.’
