This Venture is limited to 8 participants.
Cost of Lesser Sunda Venture: $8,299 per person from Bali, based on double occupancy ($750 single supplement) Price includes: All accommodation, internal flights, inter-Island ferries, all overland transport, all meals, all non-alcoholic drinks, guiding fees & tips, entrance fees, trip information packet, bird list, and guide/leader service throughout. Not included: Flight to and leaving from Bali, alcoholic beverages, laundry, gratuities and items of a personal nature.

An exciting 2 week tour going off the beaten path. Incredible scenery and wildlife will be a daily occurrence and we will be staying in beautiful locations near to our birding areas. As well as staying at tourist hotels in towns, we will be staying at Mongolian Ger (Yurt) Camps and also doing some camping. The latter will be made as comfortable as possible for us.
Some of the birds we hope to see: Sunda Teal, Javan Plover, Javan Pond-Heron, Small Blue Kingfisher, Sunda Pygmy woodpecker, Sumba Hornbill, Sumba and Yellow-crested Cockatoos, Black-backed and Rose-crowned Frtuit-Doves, Flores Hawk-Eagle, Sunda Cuckoo, Sunda Cuckooshrike, Green Peafowl, Green Junglefowl, Great Slaty Woodpecker, Javan Black-capped Babbler, Bali Myna, Javan Banded Kingfisher, Blood-breasted Flowerpecker, Sumba Hornbill, Sumba Green-Pigeon, Sumba Buttonquail. Wallacean Cuckooshrike, Orange-footed Megapode, Timor Myzomela, Timor Boobook, Timor Blue Flycatcher, Pink-headed Imperial-Pigeon, Drab Swiftlet, Buff-banded Bushbird, Timor Sparrow, Timor Imperial-Pigeon, Orange-banded and Chestnut-backed Thrush, Flores Shortwing and many, many more. Plus the amazing and enigmatic Komodo Dragon!
